The Challenge

With a large workforce operating across multiple buildings and shift patterns, this manufacturing site needed a reliable, fully managed refreshment solution that could support staff around the clock.

The key objective was to provide free access to coffee and tea, alongside snacks, cold drinks, and fresh drinking water, ensuring all employees could refuel conveniently without leaving the site. The solution also needed to work across an extensive facility with varying infrastructure, including areas without mains water connections.

Consistency, hygiene, and uptime were critical, as the site operates 24/7 and follows strict health and safety controls.

The Solution

Cymraeg Vending designed and delivered a site-wide refreshment setup, installing equipment across multiple buildings to ensure equal access for all staff.

The installation included:

• 5 x NEO espresso and fresh brew tea machines, positioned across key areas of the site

• A variation of the same machine supplying instant coffee to the on-site training room

• 4 x Merchant 6 snack vending machines

• 4 x BevMax 35 Touch cold drinks vending machines

• 40 fully operated water coolers, including regular sanitisation and cup delivery

For areas without mains water access, Cymraeg Vending installed bottle-fed water coolers, supported by scheduled water delivery and waste removal in partnership with a trusted supplier. This ensured consistent hydration access across the entire site without disruption.

Installation and Delivery

Due to the size and complexity of the site, installations were completed over 2 to 3 days, carefully planned to meet the client’s strict on-site controls.

Cymraeg Vending worked in full compliance with PPE requirements, delivery protocols, and site traffic regulations, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations while maintaining safety at all times.

Ongoing Support and Management

All machines and water coolers are fully operated by Cymraeg Vending, including:

• Regular servicing and maintenance

• Product restocking

• Water delivery and waste removal

• Sanitisation and cup supply every two weeks, or more frequently where demand requires

This hands-off service allows the client to focus on operations while ensuring staff always have access to clean, reliable refreshments.
